Reporting a wrong spec

This is the most useful thing you can send. Every platform number on the site carries the date it was read, and platforms change their rules. If a number here is out of date or simply wrong, send the link to the official page that says otherwise and it will be corrected with a fresh verification date.

Reporting a file that failed

Do not attach the image. It will not help — the processing happens on your machine, so we cannot reproduce anything from the file alone without you sending us something you probably would rather not. What is useful instead:

• What the source file was: format, dimensions, whether it was animated, roughly how big
• Which page and which platform tab you were using
• What you expected and what you got
• Your browser and version
• Any error text the page showed you

Upload rejected by Twitch or Discord

If a file passed every check here and the platform still rejected it, that is worth reporting — include the exact rejection message. Those messages are how the rules on this site get verified, and a rejection we cannot explain usually means a spec here needs re-checking.

Feature requests

Welcome, with one standing exception: nothing on this site will ever go behind a login, a daily limit, a watermark or a payment. Requests that need any of those will be declined.
