Questions
What size square should I use?
Work backwards from where it is going. 512 for a profile picture, 320 for a Discord sticker, 112 for a Twitch emote, 1080 if it is going into a social post. Type any number the tool will use it.
Crop or pad — which one?
Crop removes the long edge and keeps every pixel at full size. Pad keeps the whole image and adds transparent space to the short edge. Padding is the safe choice for artwork with margins.
Does it work with animated GIFs?
Yes. Every frame is cropped the same way and the timing is preserved, so the result is still animated.
Is there a limit on how many images I can crop?
No. There is no daily cap, no account and no watermark, because the page has no server to enforce one against.
